Moisture-Loc and Root-Drench Helped Make the Capitol Christmas Tree Project a Huge Success

For the second year in a row, Wellplant was honored to help the Capitol Christmas Tree during its  journey to Washington D.C. Everything went great and with the help of our antitranspirant products, the tree arrived in grand condition. The following thank-you letter came to us from 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree Coordinator, Ken Coffin:

Dear (WellPlant):

The 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree project was a huge success! Your contribution of fertilizer and antidesiccant spray helped the 73-foot tree arrive in Washington DC in excellent condition.

The 21-day, 5,000-mile journey was an incredible adventure! The Tree was extremely well received at all 30 events held across the country. There were carolers, cookies, hot chocolate, speeches from local dignitaries, Toys for Tots, “sleigh” rides, Native American dancers, appearances by Smokey Bear, Santa and Mrs. Claus, not mention the thousands of people who signed the sponsor banner.

Every stop yielded television cameras and newspaper reporters with amny interviews beind done on the road days before arriving. People were truly excited about seeing the Capitol Christmas Tree. If you haven’t already, be sure to visit the website and our facebook page for great photos, videos and stories of the tour.

On behalf of the 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree Team, the Stat of Colorado, the White River National Forest and Choose Outdoors, we want to extend a sincere “thank you” for your generous donation.

Capitol Christmas Tree LetterSincerely,

Ken Coffin
